COVID-19 Public Health Emergency will end May 11, 2023
Please read below on how to receive free COVID-19 tests before that date.
FREE COVID-19 Tests:
Before May 11th, 2023, covered individuals can receive up to EIGHT FREE tests before May 11, 2023.
CVS Pharmacy: FREE https://www.cvs.com/covid-test-kits/
- You can receive up to 8 individual tests per 30 days (four boxes if there are two tests included) like you would receive a normal prescription.
- If you don’t receive prescriptions through CVS Pharmacy, you will need to show your Aetna ID as if you are filling a prescription.
- Please keep in mind when ordering your tests, you will have to wait the normal allotted time that you would wait for a regular prescription to process and be filled. It can be done in person, called in beforehand, or ordered online.
- These kits will be charged directly to Aetna. $0 out of pocket cost for you!

US Postal Service: FREE https://special.usps.com/testkits
- You can order one set of at-home tests (while supplies last), containing 4 individual tests, from the United States Postal Service website, linked above.
- You will need to fill out your contact information and shipping address for the tests to arrive in the mail.
- You will not need to provide any insurance information or any payment information.
- You may use this service once per residential address.
